The Light of Horror.

Dedication.

I dedicate this book to my whole family.

About the author.

Lewis was born in Stirling in 1996. he goes to primary school. He likes sport and has travelled to New York, Bruges and Paris.

Chap 1. The Ghost Arrives.
There was a boy called Lewis, He was 8 years old and his friends thought that he was brave and fair.
He lived with his Mum, Dad and little sister in Stirling. He had red hair, blue eyes, a sweet smile and he laughed like a hyena and sometimes Basil Brush. Lewis wanted to be a football player when he grew up. He also liked rugby, swimming and “Horrid Henry”. He was laughing at “Horrid Henry and the Bogey babysitter” book when he heard the wind. It wasn’t any ordinary wind it was a tornado. Lewis ran outside and a ghost appeared in a puff of smoke. The ghost was holding a bright white light on a stick.

Chap 2. Walking into light.
The ghost came from the Atlantic Ocean. He wanted to go into the red cave inside the light to get some jewels for the poor people. He said to Lewis that there had to be more than one person going into the light and asked him if he wanted to come. Lewis said “No way” but the ghost persuaded him. So the ghost made a spell which sucked them into the light.

Chap 3. The monster.
When they arrived in the red cave a monster was guarding the lava river to stop people from finding the jewels. It had two big, black, bulging eyes, sharp, grey, rotten teeth and a red body covered in scales. It yelled “Raaaaa….”. The monster pounced at Lewis and the ghost who pulled out a sword but was killed. Lewis was alone with the monster and suddenly gained the ghost’s powers. The sword lifted up and landed at his feet. He picked it up and let out a roar. He threw it and it stabbed the monster in the head who then fell into the river. Lewis picked up the ghost, walked into the light, found the jewels and kept on walking until he got home.

Chap 4. Lewis is an hero.
Then he saw policemen outside his house. His Mum opened the door and the police gave her a newspaper. Then Lewis saw the light in his hand and put the ghost inside it. The jewels lay on the ground, the light hissed and disappeared. The police said “Lewis, you have destroyed the light of horror”. Lewis ran in and saw a photo of him and the ghost in the paper. Then the police took Lewis and his Mum to Stirling Castle where he got a medal for giving the jewels to poor people. Lewis was a hero.

THE END.
